HS Chinese– Course Outline
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to my Chinese course! I am your instructor, Emily Zhang. It’s very excited to have this opportunity to teach HS Chinese this school year. The goal of learning a language is to regard it as a tool of communication.
The main goals for this Chinese course is surviving in China, understanding Chinese culture and talking with people in Chinese. We are going to learn from Chinese Made Easy and Zhong Wen to improve your Chinese. You should be attentive in class and practise after class. As I said, language is a tool of communication.

*Classwork 10%
*Class observation 10%
*Summative Assessment 70%
